Runner follows Haas, an eighteen-year-old girl raised by a single father in an isolated town in Missouri. When her father suddenly dies, she is left alone to bury him in the town where he was born, along the Mississippi River. In this community, Haas meets Will. A story of two strangers encountering, changing, and ultimately leaving one another.
